Cemetery Song

A cabaret of song, dance, and the spoken word
in the heart of the historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery

CEMETERY SONG

Three figures stand in the lamplit darkness, their voices rising: an old woman, bent but strong and steel-eyed; a woman in the prime of life – a leader, a creator, a mother; and a young girl, full of curiosity and intelligence. Their song is haunting but joyful. As they sing, others begin to emerge from behind the gravestones, their bodies moving in fluid, graceful motions that evoke both the beauty and the pain of life and death. Songs, poetry and the spoken word join the mix.
Welcome to Cemetery Song!
