Hey there Earthlings! We’re so glad you can join us all today for this musical recreation of the story of my boss – Rumpelstiltskin! Rumpelstiltskin has made a lot of mistakes in his long and adventurous life, but I’ve always believed in him. I’ve always believed that, instead of a trickster and a conman, he can be…A HERO!
Who am I? Cosmo’s the name! I’m a Space Slug, Alpha level! That means I’m like the Ninja of the Space Slug world! I have to be the best to keep up with Rumpelstiltskin! Along with my friend, OSCAR the AI program that runs this ship, we help our Captain get out of jams! Whether it’s the crazy Space Cows, the Cosmic Police Force or the evil greedy Space Witch, we’ll always stand with our Captain against danger – and help him see the error of his ways!
So sit back, relax and enjoy the new universe of Rumpelstiltskin in Space!
Anywhere Theatre Company creates a bridge between professional and educational theatre.
THEATRE and STORYTELLING EXPERIENCES: Anywhere Theatre Company offers audiences new stories and new ways to look at the world around us. Our theatrical experiences, created by professional actors, designers and artists, break the boundaries of the traditional stage; by using unusual venues and locations within a community – parks, preserves, streets, historical sites, as well as theatres – to create stories, Anywhere Theatre Company’s experiences allow audiences to see their communities through new eyes.
EDUCATION: Peter and William Royston have worked for nearly 20 years to bring theatre to schools and communities in the form of in-school residencies and afterschool productions and workshops for grades from 2 – 12. Anywhere Theatre Company will continue working with schools of all grades and needs to create enriching, curriculum-based, and fun theatrical productions, programs, workshops and experiences.

Illustrator for the show (thomcat23)
Keni Thomas, more popularly known as Thomcat23, is a visual artist from Philadelphia, PA. His works often focus on social, political, and environmental issues, while pushing unrelated forms and visual puns together. Showing the absurd, preposterous, and comical nature of his thought process is why Thomcat23’s work falls into Pop-Surrealism.
Early in his career, Keni worked as a graphic designer in the sports marketing world, working with clients including, the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers, as well as Minor League Baseball, Hockey and Arena League Football, teams. It was during this time that Keni’s passion for illustration grew — this was also the early days of Instagram. On his daily commute he started using the time to get back to his artist roots, and with some persuasion started posting his daily drawings. He quickly grew a following because of his prolific nature. This is how Thomcat23 was born.
Since that time, Thomcat23 has garnered a sizable social media following, leading him to gallery shows as well as collaborations with companies such as Nike/ Sneaker-Lab (Now Cultivator), Moment Watches, and other artists.

The Space Witch
Alyrae Ayala has been working with Anywhere Theatre Company since 2023 and is very excited to work with such a great cast/crew on Rumpelstiltskin in Space! Alyrae lives in Yonkers, NY and has been singing and dancing all her life and acting since middle school. She is grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to doing more with Anywhere Theatre Company.

OSCAR, the AI Program
Bea is very excited to be joining the cast as the OSCAR, the AI Program in Rumpelstiltskin in Space! Currently in sixth grade at Sleepy Hollow Middle School she loves all things theater. She is happy to be back with the Anywhere Theater Company, after appearing as Alice (Alice in Wonderland), Beatrice Elf (Save Santa), Twelfth Night (The Captain & The Priest), as well as performing in The Cemetery Song and The Spectre Bridegroom. She is happy to learn and perform alongside such talented castmates!

Rumpelstiltskin
Tony wants the audience to understand the importance of keeping the arts alive, especially in your community. Theatre is the soul at play, hence why we are “players.” It teaches us valuable lessons in perspective, acceptance of others, team building, and the power of imagination, along with the themes expressed within the stories themselves. It is a window to worlds we may never see with our own eyes. To attack the arts and silence the artist is to rob life of joy, self-discovery, and free-thought.

First Cow Officer
David Janes had his acting debut in Anywhere Theater Company’s 2024 production of Dracula and the Theater of Doom at the Tarrytown Music Hall. He is thrilled to be part of the cast of Rumpelstiltskin in Space!

Stella Nova
Clare Johnson is very glad to take on the romantic, adventurous role of Stella Nova in Rumpelstiltskin in Space! Her last show with him as director, she was Cosette in Les Misérables in 2015. Since then, she did many shows with her college theatre troupe and with Between the Willows theatre company in Burlington VT. She’s thrilled to be back in the Hollow, where she grew up, and brandishing torches for you here tonight. Enjoy!

Captain Moo Moo
Luke Johnson is a lifelong resident of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, having been a part of the performing arts since elementary school. Most recently, he did sketch comedy and improv for four years at Marist University in Poughkeepsie, though other acting experience includes his roles as Officer Barrel in Urinetown and John Wilkes Booth in Assassins. Outside of acting, Luke mostly enjoys illustration and art.

Violet Victory
Isabella is thrilled to be joining her fourth show with Anywhere Theater Company. Some of her most recent works include High Tor with Arts on the Lake in Carmel, NY, and Twelfth Night with Anywhere Theater Company. Isabella is an alumna of Purchase College and based in Yonkers, NY. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her.

Gorto of the Jelly Planet
Kieran is so glad to continue working with the creative crew at Anywhere Theatre Company! He would like to thank the cast, crew, and his family for all their support. Outside of theater Kieran is an avid dancer, skier, and supporter of the Performing Arts.

Cosmic Cop
Lily Grace Raghavan is thrilled to tackle her first production with Anywhere Theater Company, and to share the stage with her brother Kieran! Her prior favorite roles have been as Donkey in a bilingual production of Shrek, Jr. and Gretl in The Sound of Music. Lily would like to thank Mr. Royston for this opportunity.

Duke Star Fainter
Will has worked in theater his whole life on a wide variety of shows and educational programs. Recent acting credits include-The Spectre Bridegroom and Other Valentine’s Ghost Stories (Death), Dracula and the Theatre of Doom (Renfield), Save Santa! (Santa), Othello (Roderigo), Persephone (Zeus, Sisyphus, Charon), Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), Sibs (George) and A Great Hero (Mozart). He’s thrilled to be performing at Makers Central again with such an amazing cast on this cool, spooky new play!

Cosmo, the Space Slug
Mustafa Sakarya is a lifelong artist working in multiple areas, including the visual arts, spoken word poetry, film and theater. A kind of Jekyll and Hyde, Mustafa works incognito in the daytime as the mild-mannered library director of Sarah Lawrence College, but at night he stalks the dark alleys of his imagination, searching for the bizarre and surreal – a perfect fit for a Sherlock Holmes adventure in Sleepy Hollow!

Granny Misery,
Queen of the Candy Pirates
Wanda Tyson (She/her) is an actress living and working in White Plains, NY. She first found her love for theater and performing arts when she was cast as Diana Ross in high school and performed, “You can’t hurry Love”. Since then, she has enjoyed theater immensely and has studied with local acting teachers and theater companies studying Stanislavski and Grotowski physical and vocal techniques. A proud supporter of African American arts, theater and music. To her acting credit, her characters have typically come from historical dramas and comedy.
