CREATE A SHAKESPEARE
PRODUCTION IN 5 WEEKS

Create a full Shakespeare production with students in only 5 weeks? Impossible? Not for the Anywhere Theatre Company and your students!
Using a unique teaching format, students work with teaching artists from the Anywhere Theatre Company to put on a full production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream or other Shakespeare classics! Classes are broken up into smaller groups of 2-3 students. Each of these smaller groups is assigned a short scene to explore, memorize and perform. When each of these small scenes is put together in order, a full production emerges!
By concentrating on smaller “bite-sized” scenes, students are no longer overwhelmed by the language and scope of a Shakespeare production and instead are allowed to fully explore his language and characters.
