Mythological Romance! A mixture of Percy Jackson, Twilight and Kissing Booth!
WHAT’S IT ABOUT: A new musical for young people, Persephone is a modern retelling of the classic Greek myth, a timeless story of family, love and finding one’s true self. Persephone (in our version, a pop star loved by millions) is the daughter of the nature goddess Demeter (for us, a loving but overprotective stage mom). Smothered by her mother’s love, Persephone dreams of choosing her own destiny, of being “Queen of her own heart.” When Persephone meets Hades, the handsome and fiery king of the Underworld, a conflict is set in motion that places the fate of the entire world at stake. This new musical features songs and music by the dynamic songwriter and performer Emma Freeman.

BEAUTIFUL NIGHT
Wonderful songs about love, family and science!
WHAT’S IT ABOUT: When the power goes out on a wild, stormy night, Mom makes up songs with humor, imagination (and even a little science!) to calm her two frightened kids – and get them back to bed. In Beautiful Night, the new musical for young children and families by James Balestrieri and Maria Jacobi, the night-time world reveals itself to be full of life, heart and beauty.
