History is more than just a list of dates and events – it’s love, passion, conflict, and empathy: all the elements of Theatre and Story Telling!
In the Bringing History to Life Program, theater educators from the Anywhere Theatre Company will work with the classes in your school to conceive, write, and perform a piece of theater for an audience based on the history they study every day.
Throughout the experience, they learned about the various tools that actors use to tell a compelling story, discovered the power of theater, expressed their creativity through acting and playwriting, and gained confidence in public speaking.
